1. Porec is picturesque town found on the Western side of Croatia. Its main attractions include the Basilica, its narrow winding streets lined with stones, and an electric nightlife.The city is lined with different type of shops, ancient buildings and beautiful people. Porec can be traversed in one afternoon and its a wonderful to get lost in the maze-like streets and take in the great atmosphere.
2. Trogir is an old coastal town in the Split-Dalmatia county. Trogir is mainly popular for its ancient architecture and this is the reason it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The real estate in Trogir right by the beach is breathtaking, it is made up old- fashioned buildings that stand out like a fortress before the sea. Trogir is a much smaller town which makes it ideal for a perfect gate-away.
3. Makarska is also found Split-Dalmatia county in the south eastern part of the country. The small city is famed for its long sandy beaches, beautiful views, wonderful nightlife and a relaxed atmosphere. Makarska also has some nice greenery and some good trails where you explore on foot or on a bike.
4. Split is the located to the east of the Adriatic sea in the region of Dalmatia. It is the second largest city in Croatia which also means the infrastructure is top notch making your stay more comfortable. Split has a lot to offer, from water activities on the seashore, the vibrant nightlife, top of the range accommodation, cruises, rock climbing among other activities.
5. Korcula is an ancient town built around the 15th century. The architecture is Korcula is reminiscent of the the past centuries and is a breath of fresh air from contemporary buildings. The city is also very scenic and therefore is a stopover for many cruises. Korcula is the perfect relaxing city, away from the hustle and bustle of major cities.
6. Crikvenica is a coastal city found in the Vinodol area of the country. There are a myriad of things to do in Crikvenica including para-gliding, Visit the local aquarium, beach tours, bike riding or just enjoy the beautiful views. However, what stands out in Crikvenica is the pearl white Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the heart of the city.
7. Bol is the smallest town in this list with a population of less than 2000 people but it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia. Its most popular beach is long, beautiful beach is called the Zlatni Rat. Bol is tourist friendly and provides all the relaxation one could need. This is because of its small size and all the amenities that are found in Bol.
