Seal cracks with caulk

Close all the gaps between windows and doors and block all the access that might allow passage of the ant's gathering. You can also use anti-ant substances and powders to keep the ants away from your home. You can make a tape barrier and keep the sticky side up, so when ants cross the tape barrier, they will stick to it.

Use turmeric powder

Spread a line of turmeric powder around the ants, and they will disappear from the area because of its fragrance.

Use nontoxic ant deterrents

Spread non-toxic scents and fragrance that ant doesn't like. This way you can stop them.

Kill ants by hand

You can kill the ants by your hands. Ant colonies regularly send lone ants to check for the food resources so you can kill that ant to stop other ants which are planning to attack.

Use water

You can use water to kill all the ants. If there are so many ants on the floor, then pour water over it and wipe all the ants with a napkin.

You can even destroy their nest by pouring water over it to kill all the ants. There is an alternative too, and you can kill the queen ant, so all the remaining ants will leave the nest.
