Communication is an essential skill for regular life that we can learn and improve. But we don’t put satisfying efforts to improve. Communication is essential whether you want to define yourself in your working space, want to have good communication in social life or share your ideas globally. Observe body language
When you communicate with anyone your body speaks more about yourself. You may be listening carefully but while sitting in front of the interviewer you have crossed your hands which mean you have to focus on the phone still. Likewise our non-verbal & non-written actions speak a lot about you. How you hold yourself & how you make eye-contact with the interviewer, such things ensures that you are constantly interacting without saying a word.
Cut down conversation fillers
Using hmm, umm etc. filters in regular conversations are ok but cut down these fillers to represent that you are more confident. You can use such words but that time you should sit in a relaxing posture and keep your hand out of pockets. Avoid silence, because it creates awkwardness.
Small talks and discussions
You can plan to have small talks so you don’t need to face awkward moments. Small talks is an art that not many people have learned. You can discuss small talks and convert it into discussions. You can share information related to your family, friend, occupation and dreams.

You should communicate briefly that includes background, information, reason, end and follow up. But be specific regarding the topics.
