It is labeled with different names i.e. lucky bamboo, ribbon plant or occasionally by its first names dracaena sander liana.

These plants don't have any fragrance like flowers; if they are not watered properly, then the plants will produce stinky smell as the bacteria begin to develop.

Most of the bamboos plants are grown with hydroponic techniques in which the stalk is dipped in pebbles and water. So check its water level or whether fertilizers are present in it or not.

Plant the bamboo in a glass pot and pour water in it or you can use soil and earthen pot to plant it. Select the right container, and add proper water periodically.
