Exercising is an excellent way to keep your body & mind healthy, fit & refreshing. But what type of activities you are practicing matters a lot for overall health because certain exercises and practicing it in the manner can age you instead of helping you stay healthy. Before practicing any exercise make sure that you avoid mistakes during practice as it can age you prematurely. There are few guidelines you should follow to avoid premature aging:

Limit your high-intensity workout

High-intensity workouts are great; if you practice such exercises too often, then you can injure yourself. Such workouts wear on your body, and it can cause your body to wear down faster. You can't take proper rest in between.

Don't practice only cardio

Cardio exercises are beneficial for health as it lowers the blood pressure; maintain heart health & cardiovascular activities. If you practice only cardio exercises than it doesn't help you build muscle mass that is as important as you age.

Losing muscle mass is a big problem because it can cause you a risk of fall. It slows down the metabolism and weakens the skeleton. To avoid it, you should include muscle strengthening workout.

Low-impact workouts

Doing high impact exercises can age you faster, you should practice low impact exercises like simply walking. If you have high BMI then high impact exercises increase the risk of hip replacement and osteoporosis. You should limit running, jumping and roping type exercises to avoid complications related to high impact exercises.

Be careful while performing shoulder exercises

Keeping your shoulder muscles strong is essential, but if you are facing any problem or injury in the shoulder, then you should be careful in choosing the right exercises. For ex: you can use dumbbells to practice shoulder presses.

Strength train

With the increasing age, your body muscle loses mass so you should include strength training exercise in your routine workout to help you avoid aging. You should practice in 3 to 4 times in a week and in between it will get the time for muscle recovery.

You can also do exercises for posture to maintain your bone health and avoid problems related to osteoporosis. Practice yoga on a daily basis to avoid aging problems. Yoga helps you boost oxygen level in the body that results in healthy & glowing skin. You can also include balancing and flexibility related exercise to keep your body flexible.
