Parrots are the beautiful and amazingly gorgeous pet birds that have been proved as a great pet companion for humans since decades. These birds come in very distinct colors. You may have noticed one of them roaming around the feral and also observed them as adorable pets in the garden area. But you know it is more important to know about their behavior before bringing them home as your loving friends because they do have many even odds in their nature & living. Parrots like to have their head feathers stroked towards their beaks

While dog, cat, horse and other pet animal loved to stroke from head to tail. It is often tolerated or it can be gender stimulating to companion parrots. Look at your bird's body language to guide you as to whether your Parrot is just taking it or can't get enough.

Parrots show love through puking

It’s true that parrots try to dribble gooey and smelly mesh into your hand if you offer them your hand. If the parrot who has decided that you are their friend or chosen you as your mate then they often express their love by regurgitating for you.

All parrots cannot fly well

In some places, it’s the trend to clip feathers of the bird when they first attempt to flight or even keeps them in the cage when time comes to attempt first flight. It can lead to a loss in flight lifetime for the bird. There are also parrots that naturally find it hard to fly due to their heavy body weight like Macaws, Amazon, African gray parrots. These birds were clipped in early age of their development when genetics were strongly urging for flight. Instead of that if they attempt for flight but end up in crash landing.

Visually super

Parrots have super visual powers they can observe tiniest spider on the ceiling, it means they are also observing you for your attention and companionship.

Parrots may take time in establishing a great friendship bond but their friendship is super rewarding. Even some of the parrot species are not social as we think & expect. You may find they are taking time in friendship like your cat or dog companion but they are eager to learn.
