But there is a small difficulty in your way the difficulty is that you have little to no experience in painting or plastering anything and have no idea what you’re doing. 1. The Items You’ll Be Needing:

Obviously you can’t fix the problem empty handed with no items to plaster the flaw it’ll wouldn’t work at all so it’s very important to go to the store and buy some supplies you would need to fix the problem. So for the tools you would be needing is (a putty knife, sponge or a texture pad to spread all the paint in the directions you want to, a pair of goggles to shield your eyes from all the dry paint, and last but not least a step ladder to reach the areas you’re going to be fixing.) All of these tools will fix any decor flaw inside of your room in no time.

2. Discard Any Unimportant Items From The Room:

Whenever you are going to start painting your room make sure to remove or cover any important items from the room with plastic wrapping such as furniture, electronics, kitchen items and et cetera. This way it wouldn’t get any paint on those items and would keep them well safe from getting damaged or stained with any drops of paint.

3. Plaster The Flawed Spot With Texture Material:

So to fix the flawed spot from your ceiling or your wall you’ll need to add some plaster that’ll give off a nice texture on it there are multiple choices of how you want your plaster to be it can be a plaster mixed with sand, a drywall joint compound or maybe even a spray-on texture. All these plasters can hide the imperfections of your room and make it look like it hadn’t any decoration flaws in the first place.

4. Plaster The Texture Material Thick:

When you are spreading the texture material you’ll also need to spread it very thick and smooth you can do this with a putty knife, sponge or even a texture pad and also make sure to add the material at every flawed spot you see so the plaster would stay in place. You’ll need to plaster the texture material very thickly because it’ll keep the ceiling from dripping in rainwater.

5. Do Not Spread The Material Too Much:

Yes you need to spread the texture material thick but not too thick. Because if it’s very thick the material can contract air bubbles and pockets which can cause it to droop and fall down due to its weight. So to avoid this first add thick texture material then spread it thoroughly at all the broken and flawed areas this way it’ll stick to the area and wouldn’t fall off any time.
