Whenever I visit farms and lawn areas in my sphere, I often dream of having a pretty garden with thick green grass, so I can play and walk with barefoot and enjoy the nature's blessing. I admire this idea and come to the loan and started gardening in my garden. The idea of gardening and keeping the lawn clean & maintained nurture my soul with proud. Plants are also living like animals, and you just have to care them. As animals & humans need a different type of care in different seasons, the plants need the same too. The idea will start with watering, fertilizing and mowing. Homeowners should learn the basics before moving to advance concepts. Here are some basic lawn care tips you need to learn:

Mowing

Mowing is a tedious and time-consuming task if you want to grow thick grass you need to invest energy and time in lawn mowing. You just follow a key point, that you need to cut top third of the lawn to grow it thick and don't mow too slow. In every grass mowing session, you just change the patterns and directions, and such things prevent the grass from growing in a single direction.

Feed regularly

Fertilizers are essential for lawns to take the grass deeper & strong roots to face heat, dry spells & foot traffic. Feed your lawn grass with fertilizers in all seasons, every time you mow, valuable nutrients removed from the green. Feed fertilizers to the yard to fulfill the nutrient supply & control broadleaf weed and crabgrass in spring, summer, winter, and fall. Always read full instructions on the fertilizer's packet.

Watering

Grass lawns require low but frequent irrigation supply. You must be thinking, how do you get to know, when does it need water? You can examine it simply by checking the temperature & humidity of the area. If the grass began to curl up from the top, then the lawn need water. Shaded grass needs less water in comparison to the grass in sunny area.

Weed control

Mow weeds like dandelions, crabgrass, etc. before they scatter seeds. Small plants can be removed manually while some need to removed using persistent techniques. Use scarifier to control the weed, if your lawn has overrun the weed's quantity, then you can use herbicides or professional suggest to restructure the soil and cover it with turf.
