There are a lot of happenings in the field after the first two T20Is in Lauderhill, Florida. Indian cricket team’s all-rounder Krunal Pandya met his childhood friend Nisarg Chokshi when they played against the West Indies for their 2nd T20I at Lauderhill, Florida. The Men in Blue is now leading 2-0 in the three-match series.
Every time when the team goes on a match, there are always supporters who watch the match to cheer for them. Last Sunday, Krunal Pandya’s childhood friend was present at the venue.
Pandya remembered his childhood days with Chokshi. He narrated that they used to play U12 and U14 together. He felt good when he saw Chokshi to support him on that match.
Chokshi has also played at the venue where the first two Twenty20 Internationals were played. "I was just thinking this morning - this is the same pitch where I have batted, the same ground where I have played my cricket for years where Virat Kohli is going to be batting today, where the legends are going to be playing. It's just unbelievable, it's just a dream come true to see that the same exact pitch where you have scored is where the international cricketers are right now. My childhood friend, we used to be in the same academy so I'm supporting him all the way from India as well." Chokshi stated.
The Men in Blue performed well, especially in batting. They defeated the West Indies by 22 runs via LDS method in the 2nd T20I match after the play was called off due to bad weather. The rain blocked the West Indies’ chance to claim the victory.
Krunal Pandya was the player of the match during the 2nd T20I for contributing well for the Indian team. The two teams played their third T20I on August 6 at Providence Stadium in Guyana.
