  • Don't compare yourself to others

Don’t compare yourself with other people in your group because they have been practicing it significantly longer than you. Comparing with others will left you disheartened and you may end up giving up.

  • Listen to your body

Yoga engages all part of the body and muscles that you might not be used while exercising or gym. Feel free to take break when the body begins to pain.

  • Wear loose and comfortable clothing

Yoga involves different poses and techniques in which it requires stretches and movements that you might not comfortable of doing, that’s why you need to wear comfortable clothes.

  • Stay hydrated

Many techniques and postures are quite exhausting and you may begin sweating during practicing yoga. So keep yourself hydrated enough before, during or after the yoga session.

  • Go for bare feet if possible

Bare feet will help you with your balance and ensure a smooth quality of moves.

  • Eat a light meal a couple of hours before the session

As beginning of a session do not eat heavy meal, try to consume small, healthy & light meal a couple of hours before the session.
